Siemens launches the new hardware series SMART LINE PLUS, including 7-inch and 10-inch models, with configuration software WinCC flexible SMART V5 SP1. SMART LINE PLUS features a new appearance design. In addition to supporting all functions of SMART LINE V5, it also supports SIMATIC S7-1200/1500 (S7 Plus Communication), SIMATIC S7-1200/1500 (S7 PUT/GET Communication), and MODBUS TCP/IP communication drivers. It supports importing PLC variables from TIA Portal project files and storing data logs to the HMI device's internal memory.
