Description
The HD8K series coaxial wire-feeding laser-arc hybrid energy deposition processing head is specifically designed for applications ranging from low to high-power Directed Energy Deposition (DED), Laser Metal Deposition (LMD), cladding, and hybrid welding, suitable for fiber-delivered lasers. Its advanced optical design allows metal wire or powder to be fed directly into the beam path, coaxial with the laser beam and precisely centered at the melt pool. This enables greater spatial angular flexibility during the additive manufacturing or cladding process. The HD8K is a rugged processing head equipped with directly cooled reflective focusing optics to minimize focal shift, allowing it to withstand laser processing power up to 8 kW.
