Description
High-speed laser cladding is a surface modification method that uses a high-energy-density laser as a heat source to melt an alloy material onto a substrate surface, achieving metallurgical bonding with the substrate. Laser cladding equipment is centered on CNC machine tools and integrated robots, incorporating laser generators, precision powder feeding systems, and intelligent control systems to form an integrated processing unit. The CNC machine tool handles high-precision positioning and motion control for regular workpieces such as shafts and discs, ensuring precise cladding trajectories; a 7-axis robotic arm automates thermal spraying, a 5-meter long shaft CNC lathe, and a CNC grinder accommodate flexible processing of irregular parts and complex curved surfaces, allowing multi-angle cladding through adjustable postures. This process significantly enhances surface hardness and wear resistance, greatly extending workpiece service life. Materials used in high-speed laser cladding mainly include metal powders, alloy powders, cobalt-based tungsten carbide powders, nickel-based tungsten carbide powders, and graphene-ceramic composite powders.
