Micro-casting-forging print head
微铸锻打印头
Description
The micro-casting-forging print head is a cutting-edge core component for high-performance metal additive manufacturing systems, innovatively integrating metal additive and localized forging functions into a single printing unit, combining the technical advantages of both processes. Addressing the pain points of conventional metal 3D printing, such as low density, weak interlayer bonding, and poor mechanical properties, the print head adopts a modular design consisting of an arc-wire welding torch, a real-time dynamic forging module, and an intelligent temperature control system. During operation, it first melts the metal wire into a molten pool via a high-energy field, then applies precise localized forging pressure to the solidifying cladding layer, effectively eliminating internal porosity and micro-cracks, refining grain structure, and significantly enhancing the density and fatigue resistance of printed parts.
