Polyether Block Amide

Description

PEBA, short for Polyether Block Amide, is a block copolymer composed of polyether soft segments and polyamide hard segments. It combines the rigidity and wear resistance of polyamide with the flexibility and low-temperature performance of polyether. Its core performance features are: 1. Outstanding flexibility and low-temperature resistance: Maintains good elasticity at low temperatures, withstanding temperatures down to around -60°C, far superior to most conventional elastomers. 2. Excellent fatigue and wear resistance: Resists deformation and damage from repeated bending and stretching, and has good wear resistance, suitable for high-frequency moving parts. 3. Good chemical and weather resistance: Tolerates most solvents and oils, has strong resistance to UV aging, and resists yellowing and embrittlement over long-term use. 4.
