Guangzhou Zhike Automation Technology Co., Ltd. is an emerging enterprise jointly cultivated and supported by HKUST, HKUST (Guangzhou), and HKUST Fok Ying Tung Research Institute. The company is led by a Changjiang Scholar, with a founding team comprising three professors and three PhDs. Currently, the company has an elite team of CAD/CAM algorithm engineers, perception algorithm engineers, robotic arm algorithm engineers, and mechatronics automation engineers, and has successfully participated in and completed the Foshan HKUST school-enterprise cooperative R&D project. The company is committed to the R&D of integrated metal additive-subtractive manufacturing technology, having successfully built the world's largest titanium alloy additive-subtractive integrated manufacturing machine tool and proposed an innovative roller cutter carbide wire additive-subtractive manufacturing solution.
